What follows is information I have gleaned from numerous sources and put together as a potted historical timeline of the Bodmin, Wadebridge and Wenford Bridge branch lines. This is not a complete history just dates that have an interest to myself.
1833 - (21st Mar) First sod cut at Dunmere.
1834 - (15th Sep) First excursion between Wadebridge and Bodmin.
1834 - (30th Sep) Formal opening to for the line to Wenford.
1848 - LSWR took control of the Bodmin & Wadebridge Railway.
1851 - (Apr) First granite traffic carried from De Lank Quarry.
1862 - China Clay traffic started to be carried between Wenford Bridge and Wadebridge.
1865 - Bodmin and Wadebridge railway track was relayed using second-hand rail from LSWR.
1879 - Further relaying of track.
1882 - North Cornwall Railway with the backing of the LSWR obtained an Act to build a line from Launceston to Wadebridge and Padstow.
1886 - An agreement drawn up between the LSWR, Bodmin and Wadebridge Railway and the GWR to control GWR access to Wadebridge. The LSWR were to rebuild the B&WR including a new station at Wadebridge.
1887 - (2nd May) GWR opened Bodmin Road to Bodmin branch line.
1888 - (3rd Sept.) GWR completed the extension from Bodmin to Boscarne.

1909 - (Dec) Wenford Dries opened at Poley's Bridge.
1964 - (15th June) Boscarne Exchange platform opened. Bodmin North passenger service .reduced to a shuttle service between Bodmin North and Boscarne Junction.

1923 - (1st Jan) L&SWR becomes part of the Southern Railway.
1948 - (1st Jan) Railways nationalised.
1950 - (1st Feb) Wadebridge Shed Code changed from WAD to 72F.
1959 - (26th Nov) Two GWR 57xx arrived at Wadebridge 3633 & 3674 both transferred to Exmouth Junction on 31st Dec 1959.
1959 - (31st Dec) Two GWR 57xx 4666 & 4694 arrive at Wadebridge.
1960 - Helland & Nanstallon sidings closed.
1961 - (18th Mar) Last Adams O2 (30200) transferred to Eastleigh.
1962 - (29th Dec) All Beattie Well Tanks withdrawn.
1962 - (1st May) First GWR 1366 (1368) arrives at Wadebridge.
1962 - (27th Aug) Two GWR 1366 (1367 & 1369) arrive at Wadebridge.
1963 - (1st Jan.) All control of the B&WR pasted to the WR.
1963 - (9th Feb) Ivatt 2MT (41275 & 41295) arrive at Wadebridge.
1963 - (9th Feb) Both 57xx (4666 & 4694) transferred to Exmouth Junction.
1963 - (1st Sept) Wadebridge Shed code changed from 72F to 84E.
1964 - (15th June) Boscarne Exchange platform opened. Bodmin North passenger service .reduced to a shuttle service between Bodmin North and Boscarne Junction.
1964 - (Jun) Both Ivatt 2MT Tanks leave Wadebridge.
1964 - (Nov) Last GWR 1366 (1369) withdrawn from Wadebridge.
1965 - (29th Nov) Bodmin North branch closed to goods.
1967 - (28th Jan) Last day for passenger workings between Padstow & Bodmin Road.
1967 - (13th Feb) Wenford Bridge good depot closed.
1967 - (17th Dec) Boscarne to Wadebridge reduced to siding status.
1978 - (2nd) Sep) Boscarne to Wadebridge closed to all traffic.
1983 - (3rd Oct) Bodmin Road to Wenford Dries closed to all traffic.
